White Gold vs Yellow Gold vs Rose Gold
All gold colours start from the same metal — but end up looking very different. Here is what sets them apart.
Yellow Gold
The most natural form. 21K–22K has that rich warm yellow colour. Easy to maintain, timeless.
Best for: Traditional jewellery, high-karat investment pieces.
White Gold
Yellow gold alloyed with palladium, then plated with rhodium for a bright white shine.
Best for: Diamond settings, modern designs.
Note: Rhodium plating wears off and needs replating every 1–3 years.
Rose Gold
Copper alloy gives the warm pink hue. Popular in fashion-forward, romantic designs.
Best for: Contemporary jewellery, flattering on all skin tones.
At Akaberian we carry all three colours across multiple karats.
