How to Find Your Ring Size at Home
Ordering a ring online? Do not guess — here are 3 easy methods to accurately measure your ring size at home, no tools required.
Method 1: The Paper Strip Method
1. Cut a thin strip of paper
2. Wrap it around the base of your finger
3. Mark where it overlaps
4. Measure in millimetres
5. Divide by 3.14 to get diameter
Method 2: Measure an Existing Ring
Place a ring on a ruler and measure the inside diameter in millimetres.
Important Tips
- Measure at the end of the day — fingers are slightly larger in the evening
- Cold weather makes fingers shrink
- Wider bands fit tighter — go half a size up for wide rings
